Drs. Fleischner and Van Bebber were awarded with the Shadow Location of the Year by National Park Community College - Medical Professions Program. The second year students that are interested in pursuing a career in some health related field can spend time in different offices observing. We have been part of this program for the last 6 years and love introducing young men and women into the rewarding world of dentistry.
Debbie, our financial manager, came up with a holiday idea to honor out wonderful bosses. We collected items from each staff member and sent 5 VERY heavy boxes to Iraq. One of our patients is stationed there for his second deployment. He has a company of 15 soldiers and they won't be home for the holidays. Our hope is to send a little "HOME" to them!!

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Little Rock, Arkansas
Our office recently participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Little Rock, Arkansas. This race is the fourth largest in the country. The races hosted 45 thousand runners and walkers of all ages. For the last four years, the office staff, friends and also some of our patients have completed the walk. The weather this year could not have been better. It was a crisp and sunny day as a pink sea of fundraisers crossed the Little Rock-North Little Rock bridge. We hope to continue our commitment to raise Breast Cancer Awareness as each of us has been touched in some way by this disease.
People to People Dentistry Delegation to Russia and Poland
Stuart A. Fleischner, D.D.S., a member of the American Dental Association, recently traveled on a unique overseas cultural and professional exchange opportunity to Russia and Poland.
People to People Citizen Ambassador Programs coordinated the delegation of dental professionals who traveled to St. Petersburg, Russia and Warsaw, Poland from November 6-15, 2009.
The delegation combined educational activities and meetings centered on oral health care in both Russia and Poland with cultural activities highlighting the sights and sounds of the country. Delegates enjoyed insider views of the dental education and oral health care systems in Russia and Poland while experiencing the culture in ways that most travelers never do, from a visit to the renowned Hermitage museum to observing professional counterparts in their element.
